My name is Alexandra Lynn Goldsmith, and I am a Epileptic. I was diagnosed with clonic tonic seizures in 2008 .I hide my seizures for many years due to I only had seizures while I was sleeping. In 2017 I was robbed at gunpoint while working as a pharmacy technician. Due to the traumatic experience my seizures could no longer be hidden nor controlled. I have many multiple tonic clonic seizures /PNES seizures . To the point I was scared to go anywhere do to the embarrassment that comes with having Epilepsy . I wanted to spread awarness as well knowledge about my seizure disorder .

I founded E is 4 Epilepsy in 2002. I have learn that although have a bachelor's degree from the University of Central Florida with a minor in Health Services Administration. Employers only seen me as a liability and overlooked my qualifications.

My journey with dealing with Epilepsy is only a small window of the person I am and my everyday life .

However, I would like to open up a door to show others that although I have Epilepsy,Epilepsy does not have me .
